Alco solenoid valves operate via direct or indirect action. In direct action, the coil’s magnetic field directly opens or closes the seat via a plunger, requiring no differential pressure. In indirect action, the field opens a pilot orifice, and the refrigerant provides the necessary energy, requiring a minimum differential pressure of 0.05 bar. Oversizing may cause malfunctions. When selecting, prioritize circuit power over fitting size.
