Alco electronic expansion valves replace mechanical systems in modern installations requiring precise energy and thermal regulation. They require a controller, a driver module, and probes. EXM/EXL/EXN valves, equipped with unipolar stepper motors, control superheat and injection in HVAC systems. The EX2, with pulse modulation, manages refrigerated showcases. The CX2, suitable for high-pressure CO2, shares this technology. Hermetic EX4-8 valves offer linear flow and high capacity. CV4-7 valves provide high-precision solutions for CO2 installations in various applications.

Alco thermostatic expansion valves regulate superheat at the evaporator outlet. Refrigerant is injected as needed to prevent liquid from reaching the compressor, acting as a valve between the HP and LP stages of the system. Alco solenoid valves operate via direct or indirect action. In direct action, the coil’s magnetic field directly opens or closes the seat via a plunger, requiring no differential pressure. In indirect action, the field opens a pilot orifice, and the refrigerant provides the necessary energy, requiring a minimum differential pressure of 0.05 bar. Oversizing may cause malfunctions. When selecting, prioritize circuit power over fitting size.

Alco mechanical pressure regulators adapt to all installation configurations. Alco ACP and CPHE capacity regulators manage hot gas bypass to stabilize evaporation pressure, preventing oil return issues and adjusting refrigeration capacity. Alco PRE evaporation pressure regulators maintain pressure above a limit, ideal for multiple evaporators or to prevent freezing in coolers and air conditioners. Alco PRC start-up regulators limit high suction pressures at start-up or after defrost, protecting the compressor.

Alco pressure switches provide control (defrost, pump-down, compressor cycle) and protection (pressure limitation, cut-out, anti-freeze protection). Actions are performed by changing the state of electrical contacts based on pressure. PS1: Adjustable pressure control (CS1 for CO₂ applications). PS2: Dual adjustable pressure control. PS3: Factory pre-set pressure control (CS3 for CO₂ applications). PS4: Factory pre-set pressure control with SPDT contact. FD113: Differential pressure control.

Alco filter driers remove moisture, acids, and impurities to protect refrigeration circuits. Available in hermetic models (BFK, ADK, FDB series) and interchangeable cartridge models (ADKS-Plus, FDH series), they offer easy brazing, optimal filtration (20-40 microns), and high absorption capacity. FDS series housings allow quick opening, ideal for maintenance.
Alco AMI, MIA, and CIA indicators monitor humidity in liquid lines. Hermetic stainless steel bodies or replaceable lenses are available as needed.

Alco TraxOil™ systems (OM3, OM4, OM5) manage missing oil injection in compressors with electronic control, LED indicators, and integrated alarms. OM3 and OM4 are compatible with HFC and A2L refrigerants, while OM5 is designed for transcritical CO₂. OW4 and OW5 models ensure electronic oil level monitoring. LW4 and LW5 controllers manage liquid levels with constant visibility via reservoir indicators. Alco OS oil separators feature stainless steel floats and optimal filtration of metal particles, available in non-dismountable, top flange, or bottom flange designs.

Alco liquid receivers protect refrigeration systems with a hermetic design featuring epoxy anti-corrosion paint, ODF connections for easy brazing, and a filtered orifice for optimal oil return. Temperature range: -45°C to +65°C. Maximum pressure: 20.7 bar. Suitable for all refrigerants, including A2L. Alco ball valves BVE or BVS (PS: 45 bar) and CVE or CVS (PS: 60 bar, for CO2 installations) offer bidirectional flow, a hermetic design, and a secured cap. Models with Schrader valves are available.
